Examining Weather Safety at Outdoor Venues

It started with a conversation with my mom about her harrowing thunderstorm experience during a Steely Dan concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Although there were no serious injuries, it got me thinking... Why wasn't Red Rocks prepared for something like this? So I did some digging and learned about their protocol and found an initiative the National Weather Service began that could provide the solution.
